Like as a portfolio analyst or something with a wealth management company. I was applying to jobs in financial services but now I’m thinking about taking more classes part-time. I guess I am feeling a little lazy or like I don’t know what I want to do. Would it be good to do a masters in applied math even if I don’t know how it would help me?
Try getting a foot in the door via the operations division. Go to some of the agencies (in the UK try Michael Page etc) and ask what roles they have in settlements or documentation.

Internship would definitely help. Try various investment companies and find out what they can offer to college graduate or current undergraduate students. Try their website and find out what kind of jobs are avalible. Read the job description to find out if that is what you want to do. From that you start talking to people in that field or visit career center of your school.

From what I’m told it’s a little hard these days to get a job but getting a recruiter apparently helps a lot. A well recommended one for the DC VA metro area is Global Recruiters of Reston. The lead recruiter there, Rick Rummage, is supposed to be one of the best and works with you personaly. The site is:
