This is because they have placed derogatory remarks on my credit file. I had placed an order with a merchant who is now out of business; apparently, the merchant never shipped my order. Yet Discover wants me to pay for something that I have never received. I already disputed with Discover several times, but they still never took out those derogatory remarks. How should I sue them? Please provide me with detailed information.
First run your free credit reports through annualcreditreport.com or call them toll free @ 1-877-322-8228 for all 3 reports. If the derogatory info is on the report, disputes it. They have 30 days to reply or it comes off. If they have a toll free #, can also call them every 10 minutes stating you’re waiting for a call back about the charges in question. As you found out, being nice doesn’t get you anywhere.
