Simply use a shopping cart on your website to add e-commerce to it. There are several options available and you can use any copy-paste shopping cart. I have used E-junkie.com in the past with no issues. E-junkie provides with a copy-paste shopping cart which you can paste in your site and your buyers can pay you using PayPal, Google Checkout (both of these work with credit card too)

E-junkie only costs $5 a month and there are no other hidden fees. You can use their free 7 days trial period and see for your self if it works for you.
References :
http://www.e-junkie.com/

You will need to set up a E-Commerce merchant account through someone like Fast Transact, CHASE, or some other company like that. You will have to pay an application fee from about $60 dollars and up to possibly $700. Then you will have to pay a monthly fee around $15 to $20 dollars a month.
References :
godaddy.com

Paypal is the easiest solution.

You would need to sign up at Paypal, verify your account and then you could set up a "shopping cart".

Paypal walks you through it.

Easiest way without you having to find credit card processing yourself.

Good luck
