Interesting post Max. Leveraging is the only realy way to make money. Study the psychology of a successful trader and you'll see that they are able to embrace the risk along with the rewards.

Thanks for sharing your insight. Ryan

Put simply, liquidity is the ease with which an investment can be converted into cash. The "money in a drawer" IS cash, and the savings account can be converted into cash absent a bank failure, while the baseball card collection requires the identification of a willing buyer, price negotiations, etc.
The cards clearly offer the least liquidity.
References :
Money hidden in a draw doesn't earn you money.
Money in a savings bank will at least give you 3% annual return or keep up at best with the rate of annual inflation.
Baseball card collection is no guarantee of anything. Luck could be on your side, but you would have to sit it out and wait.
I'll take my chances on the baseball cards.
References :
with which type of investment would the liquidity risk be highest? (look for the detail)?
A baseball card collection, a savings account, or money hidden in a drawer
