According to Town Treasurer Jane Lepardo, the AA rating the Town of Scituate was recently awarded by Standard & Poors came from the town’s very strong income and property wealth levels, improved financial management practices, good combined stabilization and general fund financial position, and low overall net debt burden and modest future capital needs.
