I recently finished a Certificate of finance (U C Berkeley) and Quantitative Finance (or Computational Finance) from a different University. I am a software developer with very little finance experience.What are the prospects of landing a job in a trading/brokerage/hedge fund/risk mgt/mutual fund firm working with traders/brokers/financial svc pros in a software job?
I am very efficient about serving the clients that I have and do not have trouble maintaining the relationship once it is established, however I have a lot of difficulty in obtaining new clients, does anyone have any sales or marketing advice that could help with this problem?
