You need a bachelors degree so go to a 4 year university that has a CFP approved program!

you still need three years experience in addition to a 4 year degree from an accredited university before you can get your CFP credential.

Certain universities have CFP board-registered curriculum programs that prepare you to sit for the CFP designation upon graduation…if you don’t graduate from a program such as this, you are required to have about 3 years experience before obtaining the CFP. I personally did this through Virginia Tech’s financial management program.

If you would like to get started prior to completing your cfp i suggest you check out the book entitled “Getting started as a financial planner” by Jeffrey H. Rattiner

The best thing to do is to go to the CFP(R)website…(This comment section won’t allow me to put the website for some reason-do a search or google and it should take you there) It should give a listing of schools that provide the coursework to sit for the designation. Regardless, get the school work done and focus on getting the designation. Good Luck!
