How trustworthy are the on-line check advance services.? Would like the pros as well as the cons. Soon, Thnk?

The services of this sort of business is needed right away. Word of mouth is the best advertisement as we all know. A little quick financial assistance is needed, but if these businesses are not reliable especially when giving out your personal information on line we’d like to know. It’s best to do without than to be taken advantage of. They advertise that your info is safe that it is not given out, but are they wolves in sheep’s clothing? Please share experiences or advisement’s. Signed wondering

They are reliable and they will ask you for your checking information and the money will be transferred into your checking account or bank account. Words of advice. Do Not Do IT!!!!! They will charge you over a 200% interest rate. They will offer you a monthly minimum that you have pay each pay period and if you cannot pay the full amount they will charge you $50 extra dollars each time.

I know you are in a financial hardship, but you need to work with your bank or your creditors instead. Try to work out your situation with them or get a part time serving job where you will make cash each day.

Please do not get yourself in this situation. There is a reason people use the cash advanced places they feel like there is no other solution. This is not a good solution. You will spend more money and you will be more stressed about paying it off. They can increase the amount to where you will never be able to pay them off. If you do not have the money to pay now there is no way you are going to have the money to pay them in the future. Please do not do it. It is honestly better to not pay your credit card than to put yourself in this situation.

do most companies offer a credit for cell phone use by their sales staff?

I am entering a sales position in financial services. It will require moving between locations, traveling to clients homes or offices. They do not allow any credit for cell phone use and they do not provide a cell phone. Is this common? If I have to add addional minutes to my family plan to handle business minutes, it would seem this would be a business expense the company should pick up.

Hey Alan,

I’d say it’s usually 50/50. Some companies offer cars, car allowance, cell phones or $400/mo for expenses. A positive way to look at this is that you can write your cell phone off as a business expense. I was a 1099 employee for a while, so can feel your pain. I pay about $120 for unlimited minutes with Verizon.

If you’re tight on money & need to make this adjustment, eat out less, which will make up for the difference. Pack a lunch and make your own coffee. Hope this helps and g’luck with your new career. Congrats!
